FALL RIVER, M.A. (WLNE) — Fall River Police are seeking help identifying a man that hit a 20-year-old woman with his vehicle and fled the scene.

The unidentified victim was struck in the area of Eastern Ave and Pleasant Street on September 8th.

Police said the suspect vehicle was described as an older silver Dodge pickup, supposedly driven by a white male, between the ages of 40-50, with gray hair, a goatee beard.

He was also believed to be wearing glasses, a baseball cap, and a dark colored button-up flannel shirt.

“The victim stated that two witnesses who observed the accident told the victim that they would attempt to locate and follow the suspect pick-up truck to obtain a license plate number,” said Fall River Police.

But at this time, those witnesses have not come forward.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Fall River Police Department Uniform Division, 508-676-8511.
