Robbery suspect sought by Pawtucket Police

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket Police are currently investigating a robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon at Pawtucket Credit Union located on Broadway. 

Police are seeking a suspect described as a black male, approximately 30 to 40 years in age, and around 6’3” to 6’4” tall. 

He is believed to have a heavy set build, and was last seen wearing a black puffy hooded jacket, pants, and white sneakers.

He robbed the bank Pawtucket Credit Union around 12:15 p.m. and stole an undisclosed amount of money. 

Before the robbery occurred the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money and stating they had a firearm on them but never displayed one, police said.

No injuries were reported.
