Pawtucket Police investigating multiple Friday night shootings
PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – Police are investigating two shootings Friday night in Pawtucket.
Pawtucket Police responded to Kepler Street around 9:00 p.m. Friday for reports of shots fired. Officers on scene located an 18-year-old male victim who had been shot in the arm.
The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where he is being treated. Police said his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Shortly afterward, officers responded to 60 Columbia Avenue for a second report of shots fired. Officers found several bullet casings on the ground in front of the address and located a bullet hole in the house.
No injuries were reported at the Columbia Avenue address.
Pawtucket Police Detectives are investigating both incidents. According to Police it is unknown at this time if the incidents are related.
