Fall River Police looking for missing woman

FALL RIVER, MA (WLNE) – Fall River Police are seeking the help of the public in locating a local woman who has been missing for several days.

Police said Janet Marie Jimenez, 40, of Fall River, was last seen Tuesday around noon in the area of Lindsey Street.

According to Police, Jimenez frequents the Family Dollar plaza on North Main Street, and likes to spend time in Bicentennial Park.

Fall River Police described Jimenez as being approximately 5’6” tall and weighing around 160 pounds, with brown hair, often worn pulled back.

Police said Jimenez suffers from a numerous medical issues and had recently stopped taking her medication, and left her cell phone and purse behind, something out of character for her, before going missing.

Anyone with information as to Jimenez's whereabouts is asked to contact Detective John McDonald at (508) 324-2796 or call the Fall River Police Department anonymous tip line at (508) 672-8477 (TIPS).
