Brown Men's Basketball Announces 2018-2019 Schedule
Brown men’s basketball coach Mike Martin has announced his team’s 30-game 2018-19 schedule that features 15 home games, including the inaugural four-team Brown Bears Tip-Off Classic at the Pizzitola Sports Center.

Brown Announces Its 2018-19 Men’s Basketball Schedule
Providence, R.I. – Brown men’s basketball coach Mike Martin has announced his team’s 30-game 2018-19 schedule that features 15 home games, including the inaugural four-team Brown Bears Tip-Off Classic at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
Brown opens its season with road games at LIU Brooklyn on November 9 and at NJIT on November 11, before returning home for the Brown Bears Tip-Off Classic, November 16-18, with games against UMass Lowell (November 16), Sacred Heart (November 17) and Army (November 18).
Martin’s squad will also host non-league home games against Salve Regina (November 21), cross-state rival Bryant (November 25), Stony Brook (December 8), Maine (January 2) and Johnson & Wales (January 14).
Two of Brown’s non-league opponents earned NCAA Tournament bids a year ago. The Bears travel to URI at the Ryan Center on November 28 for the 160thmatch-up between the two Ocean State universities, and to Butler on December 5 at Hinkle Field House.
The Bears will also play non-league road games at Navy (December 1), Marist (December 22), San Diego State (December 29) and Canisius (January 8).
Brown launches its Ivy League season on Saturday, January 19, with a home match-up against Yale at the Pizzitola Sports Center. The Bears and Bulldogs have a return match-up the following week on Friday, January 25, in New Haven.
Defending Ivy League Champion Penn comes to the Pizzitola Sports Center on Friday, February 8, followed by Princeton on February 9. The Bears will also host Harvard (February 22), Dartmouth (February 23), Columbia (March 1) and Cornell (March 2).
Coach Martin’s team will be on the road for Ivy games against Dartmouth (February 1), Harvard (February 2), Cornell (February 15), Columbia (February 16), and conclude its regular season at Princeton (March 8) and Penn (March 9).
The Ivy League Tournament will be held at Yale on March 16-17, with the conference’s top four teams advancing to the tournament in New Haven, Conn.
