Gail is my step-mom, but she has always treated us as if we were her own. I think she deserves the makeover because of everything she has done and gone through over the past years. I am 21 now, but when I was 13 my mom passed away from cancer. So we had to move in with my dad and step mom. Gail could have left, she had already raised her kid. But no, she stuck around, and raised us just as good as my mom would have. Don't get me wrong, things weren’t always easy, and we gave her hell, but she stuck to her guns and raised us right. I'm working full-time, living on my own, and beginning my own family. My sister Courtney(20) is now a Military Police Airman of the U.S. Air force. About two years ago Gail lost her only brother Gary, and last February she lost her only son, George. Even through all this tragedy she has remained brave, and strong. Showing us that no matter how hard you fall, you have to get right back up and keep walking, taking everyday one step at a time. We are a family, and no matter what happens, we still have each other. She is a major reason why both my sister and I are were we are today. That's why I feel she deserver’s to be pampered for a day.

This is a very inspiring story. Gail is a great woman and definately deserves to be treated like a queen for a day. Keep doing what you are doing Gail. You make us all believe there are great people out there. April C. Fall River
