I just can not believe everything my mother in law has been through in her own life, but yet I watch her help everyone else. My mother in law, Betty always seems to put on a smile and hide her own troubles as she helps others. She has a big heart and will give you the "shirt off her back." She takes her sister out once a week who can not drive. She is always finding bargains and buying things for anyone who seems to need something. My mother in law took care of her mother for many years. At this present time, my wife is battling cancer and my mother in law will come over and help with laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. She will watch the kids or even take my wife or the kids where they need to go. She has been very supportive to my wife as she holds in her own fears. My mother in law lost her son at a young age and I know she fears of losing her daughter now. If my wife calls her mom for something, her mom will drop whatever she is doing to come help my wife. She has taken care of my wife after her last 2 surgeries and plans on staying with her in Boston for next surgery. I just can't say enough or the right words to explain how much she will go out of her way to help others and how much she has done for me, my wife and kids. I hope she is considered a candidate to win the Mother's Day contest. Joe
