Today, around 7:00 it transformed from a sunny afternoon to a sepia-colored surroundings. Then suddenly there was a huge thunderstorm that progressively increased in rate and volume. A few minutes later everything was white and making tapping sounds against the windows: HAIL!!!! They were about the size of a grape and fell in mass quantities for a good ten minutes. Streets immediately flooded about a foot deep, submerging the streets, sidewalks and lawns. Cars could barely move and sewers couldn't take the water in fast enough: when they could it was like a tornado swirling down all the water. All of these pellets still lie on the lawns aside from the 56 degree temperatures, as these pellets are thick! The streets eventually cleared, and no flooding of the basement occurred in my house, but it was a sight! This video is a little after the storm died down, but what you can see from the pictures is more up close: I will load another video during the storm and some more pictures too.
