This very precoscious 13 yr. old Bichon/Poodle mix was an adopted rescue who lived with us for 3 years after his original mama, a resident at Oakwood Retirement Community, could no longer care for him. He loved our home, where he could run around in His yard without a leash...up until May of 2009 when his health took a turn for the worst. This video was taken a day after we thought he was dying right then, had a seizure, and could barely walk. He was the best little watch dog...and came to life right before our eyes as he ran out to bark at our friend, Larry, mowing the lawn. That was the last time he would "speak"...his last hurrah...before he left us for his "final home"--where we're certain he's running free!
