Casper the white cat and Daisy Duke are both rescue animals. Casper was the son of a feral cat and was live trapped as a kitten. We saw him in the trap and left a note that we would adopt him. Daisy was at a yard sale in Penn. We were enchanted with her when we saw her in a crate at the sale. When the family saw us looking at her we were told " If you like her take her home, she is free and needs a home." We adopted both animals within weeks of each other when they were very young. They grew up together like litter mates. They play and treat each other like brother and sister. Daisy is a successful hunting dog but is gentle and loving with Casper. Casper ( House cat only) is the trouble maker of the two always attacking / playing tricks on the dog. He (Casper) is always luring Daisy into the forbidden rooms of the house taking glee when Daisy is scolded. They are a joy to both of us with their antics and their loving attention.
