Rhode Island State police are investigating following a roll over accident Saturday evening in Johnston.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after losing control driving into the guardrail and rolling over on 295 North near Exit 6C, according to police.

Authorities say the cab part of the truck was separated from the frame causing officials to remove it in two pieces.

At least one lane was open for traffic and police were on scene for 90 minuets.

Rhode Island Department of Transportation was on scene and cut the guardrail.

The incident is not suspicious and is under investigation.
