10 arrested in undercover ‘John Sting’ in Central Falls

Central Falls Police arrested 10 people during an undercover “John Sting”.
On Wednesday, three female police officers posed as prostitutes and 7 men were arrested for soliciting from a motor vehicle for indecent purposes: Peter Lust (35) of East Providence, RI; Lucien LeClerc (53) of Burrillville, RI; Michael King (21) of Seekonk; Robert Bowman (26) of Pawtucket, RI; Andrew Byrnes (77) of Narragansett, RI; Jose Barragan (72) of Lincoln, RI; Herbert Walmsley (47) of Central Falls, RI.
3 others were arrested for procurement of sexual conduct for a fee: Anastacio Tavares (53) of Pawtucket, RI; Victor Carrion (65) of Pawtucket, RI; Irlando Barros (55) of Central Falls.
All were arraigned and given court dates next month.
