13 arrested in Pawtucket prostitution sting

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – Pawtucket Police have made thirteen arrests in connection with raids at a pair of massage parlors in the city.

Following numerous complaints from local residents and business owners, police began an investigation into potential prostitution activities at Far East Accupressure on East Street and Harmony Spa on Benefit Street.

Pawtucket Police executed court-ordered search warrants at both locations, resulting in the arrest of thirteen women.

Stelly Sang Ok, 64, of Killeen TX, Jeongsuk Lee, 62, of Avon CT, and Jean Son Derrico, 60, of Flushing NY were charged with:

  • License of Massage Therapy Required/Employer
  • Pandering or Permitting Prostitution

Hyo Yeon Im, 45, of San Jose CA, Inok Bang, 53, of Flushing NY, Heeyong Kim, 38, of Bayside NY, and Mi Young Lim, 45, of Bayside NY were charged with

  • Prostitution
  • License of Massage Therapy Required/ Employee

Jung Youn Min, 47, of Flushing NY, Shunwa Kim, 45, of Flushing NY, Kisook Kim, 45, of Whitestone NY, Ju Yeon Hill, 46, of Los Angeles CA, Hyun Jung Kim, 46, of Bayside NY, and Yeoung Jeoung, 40, of Bayside NY were each charged with License of Massage Therapy Required/ Employee

All thirteen suspects were arraigned Friday in 6th District Court and released on Personal Recognizance.
