15 new COVID-19 cases in Mass. with first case on Cape Cod
15 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

MASSACHUSETTS (WLNE) – 15 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
This brings the state of Masachusetts’ number of presumptive positive and confirmed COVID-19 cases to a total of 138 as of Saturday afternoon. The number rose from 123 which was reported on Friday, March 13.
One of the 15 new cases is on Cape Cod. It is Cape Cod’s first COVID-19 case and Cape Cod Healthcare said it received confirmation on Saturday.
In a statement from Cape Cod Healthcare, “The patient will remain in our care until they are stable and can return home for the remainder of the CDC recommended quarantine period of 14 days. All staff who came into contact with the patient are currently being monitored.”
Out of all of the cases in the state of Massachusetts, 11 patients had to be hospitalized, 105 of the patients did not need any hospitalization, and 22 cases remain under investigation.
