Warwick police find ‘articles of interest’ in missing woman investigation

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick police said a “a few articles of interest were recovered” in connection to a missing woman.

This discovery came less than one day after a search party for the missing 44-year-old was at Kent Hospital Sunday morning. Investigators would not say what was found or where it was found.

There is also a $15,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information surrounding the disappearance of a Warwick woman.

Charlotte Lester, who’s from Warwick, was last seen around Post Road on May 16.

Lester is described as a white woman with a slim to medium build. She’s 5 feet 7 inches tall with brown eyes. Investigators said Lester often wore wigs because she has alopecia.

Police found a red 2006 Toyota Tundra, which is believed to belong to Lester, outside of Kent Hospital one week after she was first reported missing. ABC 6 reached out to the hospital and was able to confirm that no one was admitted to the hospital under her name.
