17 more Providence College students test positive

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – 17 more Providence College students have tested positive after the school required all off-campus students to get tested on Wednesday.

School officials made students get tested at their campus site.

According to Steven Maurano with Providence College, the school tested 1,101 students on Wednesday.

Students who tested positive will have to learn remotely and can’t return to campus unless they have tested negative and do not live with anyone who is positive.

According to the College’s coronavirus statistics, in total, 39 students and 1 faculty member have tested positive for the virus.
