FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police arrested an 18-year-old man after finding him in possession of a loaded firearm.

Joshua Holmes was with a group of males shooting at each other with a toy gun which fired Orbeez, a thick gel like bullet that absorbs water, at 6:35 p.m. in the Corky Row neighborhood.

The group later was acting suspicious while inside a convenience store, allegedly being in possession of a bag of drugs, police say.

Officials retrieved a loaded pistol on Holmes, due to his age he was not permitted to carry a firearm.

He was charged with felony firearms offenses.
