Two men have been arrested for carrying 200 packets of
heroin.

Rhode Island State Police pulled over a speeding car on 195
in East Providence
around 2:30 Friday, and the Trooper noticed both driver and passenger were
extremely nervous and told conflicting stories of where they were coming from.

A Police K-9 alerted Troopers to 200 packets of heroin
inside the vehicle. The driver, Gary Couto, 35, of Somerset,
and the passenger, Steven Bush, 37, of Fall
River, were arrested and charged with possession of
heroin with intent to deliver and conspiracy to violate a controlled substance
act.

Both suspects will be arraigned Saturday.
