2 children hurt by falling tree in Johnston

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Johnston police said two children were injured by a falling tree Tuesday.

The incident happened on Park Street. The children were taken to the hospital at about 3 p.m.

The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.

ABC 6 News was on the scene, where a large emergency response was underway near an apartment complex.
