2 hospitalized after overnight fire in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Two people were sent to the hospital following a two-alarm fire overnight in Providence.
Providence Fire Department received a call around 4:15 a.m. Saturday for a structure fire at 91 Julian Street. Firefighters arriving on scene evacuated residents while working to bring the fire under control.
Fire officials said the residence was fully occupied at the time.
Two residents, one adult female and one child, were transported to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
No other injuries were reported.
Fire officials said over a dozen people were displaced by the fire.
