2 people, 1 dog dead after Dennis house fire
DENNIS, Mass. (WLNE) — A house fire in Cape Cod claimed the lives of two residents and a dog early Sunday morning.
Dennis fire officials said they responded to the two-story home just before 7 a.m.
A man and woman were pulled from the burning house but were pronounced dead after being transported to a Hyannis hospital.
Authorities confirmed their dog also died in the blaze.
Officials have not determined a cause for the fire but said none of the smoke alarms in the home were working.
