2 Providence police officers injured in crash

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said two of its officers were injured after a car crash on Monday.

According to officials, the crash happened in the area of Newark and Cutler Streets.

Both officers were taken to the hospital where they were treated for their injuries, police said.
