2 seriously hurt in Providence triple shooting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Three men were hospitalized after they were shot in Providence on Thursday night, according to police.

Police said the shooting happened around 8 p.m. near the Chad Brown housing complex at the intersection of June and Pumgansett streets.

Officials said two of the three men were seriously hurt. All three were taken to Rhode Island Hospital.

An ABC 6 News crew on scene saw police tape off the area surrounding at least 20 shell casings in the road.

Police said no arrests were made.
