2 state police cruisers damaged in highway crash in Providence
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Two Rhode Island State Police cruisers and a white SUV were involved in a crash on Interstate 95 south in Providence on Thursday night.
An ABC 6 News crew saw one of the cruisers was significantly damaged in the front and the other was damaged at the back.
The crash happened near the Elmwood Avenue exit at about 11 p.m.

Two lanes were shut down on 95 as first responders cleared the scene, causing a large traffic backup.
It was not immediately known if anyone was hurt in the crash.
