24-year-old Cranston woman killed in crash

A 24-year-old Cranston woman was killed in an early morning car accident Sunday.

At around 5:21 Sunday morning State Police responded to the crash site near exit 6B on 95 South in Foxboro.

Investigations so far reveal that Phoenix C. Smith was driving her 2005 Kia Sorento down 95 South when she lost control, hit the guardrail past the breakdown lane and was sent into the woodline.

Smith was trapped inside and pronounced dead at the scene.
