PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — We started out the day with fog, but that lifts off and the sun warms us up to the low 60s.
The clouds increase later on today and an afternoon sea breeze helps build more clouds up after 3pm today.
Clouds set in overnight and rain starts to move in early Saturday morning. Saturday will be a pretty drab/gloomy day for us with drizzle, light rain, and pockets of heavier rain through out the day. Not a wash out, but just yucky day.
Heavier winds moves in late Saturday night and stay through Monday. Gusty at times Saturday evening through Sunday.
As of now, we have a clearing early Sunday morning and then by lunchtime the rain moves in, but this round is heavier. Rain lingers into our early Monday morning commute before it lifts off.
We could see 1-2inches of rain over the weekend which is needed to get us back up to normal.
