WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Two men and a juvenile have been arrested after leading police on a chase that crossed state lines late Tuesday night.

Woonsocket police said just after 8 p.m., the city’s flock camera system confirmed that a black Nissan Rogue was stolen.

Soon after, an officer spotted the SUV on Social Street. As police activated their lights, the driver, later identified as 18-year-old Quincy Rivera, “began to accelerate and changed lanes to flee.”

The pursuit went into Bellingham, Massachusetts, police said. There, several police cruisers chased the car that was heading towards oncoming traffic.

The SUV then headed back into Woonsocket and was seen by an officer “driving erratically” on Mendon Road. The pursuit continued down Route 146.

While on the highway, Quincy — who’s from Pawtucket — hit another SUV that was merging from Lincoln, police said. The suspects’ car flipped onto its side as a result of the crash.

Police said the three suspects tried to break the front windshield by kicking the glass to evade officers.

Quincy was arrested, as well as the two passengers in the car, who were identified as 18-year-old Eddy Rivera and a juvenile.

The Pawtucket man was charged with operating a vehicle with an expired license, 2 counts of eluding law enforcement, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Rivera was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
