3 Drive-by Suspects Identified by Cops
Pawtucket Police are identifying the 3 suspects taken in in a drive-by shooting investigation.
Here's the suspect information from Pawtucket Police:
23-year old McGeary Littlejohn of East Providence
Littlejohn faces a number of charges including assault on an officer, resisting arrest and carrying a concealed weapon.
22-year old Robert Littlejohn of Pawtucket
Robert Littlejohn is harged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest
24-year old Vicent Wilcox of providence
Wilcox is charged with obstructing a police officer and resisting arrest.
All three are being held as possible probation violators.
PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) – Pawtucket police say they have arrested three people in connection with a brazen daytime drive-by shooting.
It does not appear that anyone was hurt in the shooting that occurred at about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday on Park Place. The three people arrested were described only as a 34-year-old Pawtucket man, a 24-year-old Providence man, and a 23-year-old East Providence man.
Police say the shooting involved two cars chasing a third in what was possibly a drug-related incident.
2 of the cars were recovered with multiple bullet holes.
Police say three men fled a white Ford Explorer on East Avenue, just off Park Place. Officers chasing them saw 1 of the men toss a handgun into a nearby parking lot which was later recovered.
At least seven shell casings were recovered.
