3 injured in Providence crash

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Three people were injured in a car crash in Providence Saturday night.

The crash happened just after 8 p.m. at intersection of Douglas Avenue and Chad Brown Street.

Police said two adults and a child were taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries were not immediately released.

Police said a car went through a light there at a high speed, hitting other cars at the light. One person fled that car, but was arrested a short time later.
