3 Rocky Point designs unveiled for new license plate

WARWICK, R.I. — Three high school students unveiled their Rocky Point license plate design Tuesday at Warwick Career and Technical Center.

Meaghan Marcus, Skye Whelpley, and Anthony Lescarbeau’s designs included the iconic Rocky Point Arch and the shoreline.

“Throughout recent years, the City of Warwick has been fortunate enough to work in conjunction with numerous local and state agencies to bring revitalization back to the adored amusement park,” said Mayor Avedisian

The designs will be voted on by residents as they reserve their plates. The first plate to reach 900 orders will be the winner.
