$3M Mega Millions ticket sold in R.I.

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE)- A $3 million winning ticket was sold in Rhode Island for Tuesday’s drawing, but the prize has yet to be claimed.

The winning ticket was purchased at Daily Stop Mart on Charles St. in Providence.

Five out of five numbers matched on the ticket, winning the standard prize payout of $1 million.

The winner purchased the Megaplier, increasing the prize by three.

Friday’s estimated Mega Millions jackpot stands at $421 million, and tickets can be purchased until 9:50p.m. the night of the next drawing on Friday.
