4 arrested in 5 days on cocaine related charges
PAWTUCKET, R.I (WLNE) – Pawtucket Police Special Squad Unit, with the assistance of the Police K-9 Unit, the U.S Postal Inspector Service, and the DEA seized over 4 kilos of cocaine, and over $30,000 in cash over the past week.
On Saturday, March 7, Police executed a search warrant at a Walcott Street residence and arrest 58-year-old Carmen Medina, and 37-year-old Luis Concepcion, both of West Warwick.
Both Medina and Concepcion were charged with Possession of Cocaine with intent to deliver and Manufacture/Sell/Poss./Delivery Controlled Substance > 1 KG Cocaine Conspiracy.
A search warrant was also issued for 33-year-old Daneska Cintron Pacecho, the resident of the address for Manufacture/Sell/Poss./Delivery Controlled Substance > 1 KG of Cocaine, Manufacture/Poss./Delivery of Schedule I/II, Manufacture/Sell/Poss./ Delivery 1 oz. – 1KG of Cocaine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and Distribution or Manufacturing in or near School, and Conspiracy.
As of this time, police are still searching for Cintron Pacheco.
On Thursday, March 12th, Police arrested 36-year-old Central Falls resident, Ana Carolina Castrillon Escobar in possession of 1 kilo of cocaine.
Police charged her with Manufacture/Poss./Delivery > 1 KG Cocaine, Manufacture/Poss./Delivery Schedule I/II, Driving While in Possession of a Controlled Substance and Driving without a License (2nd offense).
On Friday, March 13, police arrested 38-year-old Juan Carlos Almonte of Providence, in possession of 1 kilo of cocaine.
Carlos Almonte was charged with Manufacture/Poss./Delivery > 1 KG of Cocaine and Manufacture/POss./Delivery Schedule I/II.
Police say at this time it is unknown if these cases are connected and the investigation is on-going.
All of the suspects have been arraigned and are being held at the ACI.
