4 displaced after fire inside multi-family Providence home

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Multiple emergency crews battled a fire inside a multi-family home on Public Street.

The house sustained damage to the second floor, it did not spread to the first or third floor.

Fire officials confirmed that 4 people, 3 adults and 1 child, are displaced due to the fire.

The fire did not leave anyone with injuries.

Red Cross will be assisting those displaced.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
