4-year-old Friar fanatic practices cheers for Friday night’s game

There's no bedtime during the Sweet 16.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – 4-year-old Tyler Hahn is just about as ready as any other Friar fans are for Friday night’s Sweet 16 game.

And he’ll be staying up past his bedtime to cheer on the Friars in Chicago.

It’s proof that the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Tyler’s mom, Andrea, graduated Providence College in 2009- after spending all four years on the Dance Team… yes, cheering for the Friars.

“We became fans from afar, after we moved here to Connecticut… this is really the first year he’s been super into it,” Andrea Obert- Hahn says.

Tyler sure is into it. For any of the Friar games, you can find him right in front of the family TV with his black and white checkered PJ pants on paired with his matching Friar baseball cap and tshirt.

The Hahn family was preparing to go to Chicago for the big game, but decided to stay home because of quarantine protocols at his pre-school.

That just means they’ll have to cheer even louder… something Tyler’s mom says he has gotten very good at.
