401Gives kicks-off weekend edition

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — 401Gives first ever ‘Weekend Edition’ got underway Friday morning.

401Gives is a collaborative established by the United that sets up a virtual fundraiser to allow Rhode Islanders to donate to their favorite charities and organizations.

This edition will run from Friday at 6 a.m. thru Monday at 6 p.m.

More than 500 organizations have signed up to participate.
