NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (AP) _ Prosecutors say a fourth man has been arrested in connection with the killing of a New Bedford man last year.

District Attorney Sam Sutter said 29-year-old Antonio Rodrigues, Jr., was arraigned Thursday on charges including armed assault with intent to murder and accessory to murder after the fact in the killing of 31-year-old Sharone Stafford.

Rodrigues also is charged with drug possession with intent to distribute and resisting arrest. He pleaded not guilty and was ordered held on $60,000 cash bail. Sutter said Rodrigues was arrested Wednesday night when officers found cocaine and $3,500 cash at his apartment.

Stafford was found shot to death in a New Bedford street Nov. 23. Twenty-five-year-old Hailton DaCosta has pleaded not guilty to charges including murder in the killing. Two other men also have been charged as accessories.
