6 Massachusetts children found safe after being reported missing

HAVERHILL, Mass. (WLNE) — The Haverhill Police Department said they located six children reported missing after a 911 call was made reporting child abuse.

According to state police, on May 10, Haverhill police were told by a girl that her mother and step-father were abusing her and her siblings.

The children were initially believed to be in the Randolph area.

The Massachusetts Department of Children, Youth, and Families and other police agencies were involved, WCVB-TV reports.

No further information was immediately released.
