7,300 without power in Massachusetts, 67 in Rhode Island, National Grid says

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Saturday’s severe weather left 7,300 without power in Massachusetts, 67 in Rhode Island, as of 4 p.m., according to National Grid.

National Grid said that the hardest hit area was Nantucket, with about 4,700 customers being left without power.

Nearly 4,000 workers have been working to fix the outages across the two states, according to National Grid.
