8 residents displaced following fire in multi-family home in Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – Firefighters put out a 2-alarm fire Wednesday morning on Burnett Street.

Fire officials tell us there was major damage to the home and eight residents were displaced.

The call came just after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries from working to knock down the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
