Newly released bodycam footage shows moments after ICE-involved Providence crash

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Newly released Providence police bodycam footage shows officers’ arrival to the scene of an ICE-involved crash in October.

The incident occurred on October 14 on Chalkstone Avenue at the intersection with Raymond Street.

According to witnesses, the ICE SUV was going through an intersection red light with its lights on, but did not sound its siren.

The vehicle was T-boned by a BMW at the corner, and according to the PC student driver, ICE agents ran the red light and did not check on his condition after the crash.

There were no serious injuries in the incident.
