A break in the storms this weekend

We will have a chance to dry out this weekend from the rain and light snow of Friday. Look for partial clearing overnight with temperatures falling into the low 20s. Sunday will start out with some sun early but clouds will take over for the afternoon. A developing coastal storm will bring rain Sunday evening through Monday that will once again be locally heavy. This time, the rain will be wind-driven with gusts of 35-40 mph. We’ll also need to keep an eye on the tidal situation for Monday morning as well for any possible splashover. Tuesday looking to be much better with mostly sunny skies and high temps of 40-45. Wednesday is when the next storm system comes through into Thursday. Once again, it will be wind-driven and locally heavy rain but it could start off as a brief period of mixed precipitation.
