A warming trend through the holiday weekend

High pressure is going to be in control of our weather pattern all weekend long. It will be comfortably cool overnight tonight with lows in the low and mid 50s. Then Saturday will be another gorgeous day with plenty of sunshine. Looks for highs to reach the upper 70s to near 80°. It will be a little cooler at the beaches and there will also be a moderate risk of rip currents throughout the day.

A weak disturbance crosses the region Saturday night that will bring some clouds, but that should be it. Then as we head into Sunday and Labor Day Monday we’ll note increasing humidity levels as highs climb into the low 80s Sunday and mid-upper 80s Monday.

It remains humid for Tuesday, but heading into the second half of the week the mugginess breaks and temperatures begin to cool back a bit.
