ABC 6 Announces New Program Lineup

ABC 6 on Tuesday announced a strong new program lineup that includes popular shows throughout the day and an extended block of news programming.

Starting April 25th, the early evening news block will begin with an hour-long ABC 6 News at Five followed by the station's mainstay 6 o'clock newscast and ABC World News at 6:30. 

The information programming doesn't stop there.  At 7:00 pm, ABC 6 will air “The Insider” (show site), a popular celebrity news program.

“The Insider” will be followed at 7:30 pm by “Inside Edition” (show site), the news magazine show hosted by veteran journalist Deborah Norville.

Preceding the 3-hour news block on ABC 6 will be back-to-back episodes of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” (show site) at 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm.

ABC 6's morning lineup will also change.

Starting April 11th, the station is happy to welcome back “700 Club” (show site) at 9:00 am.

On April 25th, “Don't Forget The Lyrics” (show site) moves to 10:00 am, followed by “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” (show site) at 10:30 am.

The new programming lineup will bring Southern New England television viewers a new variety of entertainment along with a powerful block of news programming.
