ABC6 StormTracker Weather Forecast – Sunday, April 5, 2020

Sunday Night: Spotty showers, clearing out late, with lows near 40.

Monday: Warm and dry with gusty winds.  These conditions increase the risk that a brush fire could spread.  What does that mean for you?  This is not a day to carelessly dispose of a cigarette, or to dispose of materials from a fireplace that haven’t been properly extinguished, or to burn the leaves that have been cluttering your yard since last fall.  Any fire could accidentally spread out of control when the weather is dry and windy.

Tuesday: Mild with a mix of sun and clouds.  A bit cooler at the coast.

Wednesday-Thursday: Chilly with widespread rain.

Friday-Sunday: Mainly dry and mild.
