Waking up to dry conditions but waiting on some rain and mixed precipitation moving in for the afternoon. Inland spots most likely to see some wet snow at the start of the precip. A slushy inch possible for areas in N/W RI but then we all switch over to rain as the evening progresses. Highs today only around 40°. Heavy rain expected overnight, over one inch expected. Lows in the upper 30s.

Some showers linger very early Tuesday morning but then we clear pretty quickly, highs will be warmer in the mid 50s. Clear and cool again overnight with lows in the mid 30s. Wednesday starts dry but clouds increase ahead of another low system that will bring more rain to the area. Highs will be in the mid 40s with rain moving in for the afternoon and evening. Some heavy rain expected at times.

Back to partly sunny conditions on Thursday with temperatures staying seasonable, expect morning lows in the mid 30s with afternoon highs in the low 50s.

More rain in the forecast for Friday with highs in the mid 50s. Sunny on Saturday with highs in the low 50s. Some showers possible Sunday again.
