ABC6 Weather Online - Thursday, February 27

Some steady rain early this morning but improvements expected as the morning progresses. We will gradually dry out and eventually clear out with some sun later today. As the system clears the area, gusty winds pick up from the SE then eventually the W, gusts over 30MPH possible at times. Highs today will still be mild, expect low 50s but as the wind shifts, much cooler air will begin to move in. Overnight will be breezy with lows in the 20s. With the wind we will feel more like the teens.

Friday will be partly sunny and more seasonable with highs in the low 40s. Much cooler than the temperatures we’ve seen so far for the work week. It will still be a bit breezy so we will still feel cooler. Overnight the breeze backs off with lows in the low 20s.

Sunshine for Saturday and Sunday. Morning temperatures will stay in the low to mid 20s with afternoon highs only in the mid to upper 30s,actually below average for the end of February and the beginning of March.

Monday will be mostly cloudy with some showers overnight, highs in the low 40s. Warmer on Tuesday with highs in the low 50s, breezy too. Mild on Wednesday with highs into the mid 50s, some scattered showers possible.
