In a matter of minutes all the remaining tickets to this weekend's AFC Championship game between the Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots were sold out.

Approximately 2,000 tickets went on sale on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. on and were sold out by 10:08 a.m.

With the large demand for tickets the Rhode Island's Attorney General's office told ABC6 on Monday that people looking to buy tickets off or Craigslist or another individual seller should be careful for scammers.

The Attorney General's office recommended that people buying tickets from individuals make the purchase using a credit card or a check so that a transaction can be stopped or canceled if necessary. They also advise individuals to check the stadium seating chart to ensure the seats for the tickets they are buying exist.

It is against Rhode Island law for anyone who is reselling a ticket to over inflate the price. They can only sell the ticket for 10% more than the original price.
