Afternoon showers and storms
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) —
Air quality still an issue for us today, but the good news is the smoke is starting to clear out of here.
The storm system that has been driving the smoke into the area will finally shift gears and move the smoke out and bring some rain in.
Today we will start off with some clouds and then increasing clouds. By lunchtime, we start to have showers develop and move through the rest of the day with a few becoming strong. Once the sunsets the rain fizzles out and we clear up.
Saturday, we stay clear until the afternoon when we have some spot showers pop up, and by evening our coastal areas and Southcoast looking to see those rain showers after 5pm.
Sunday we are dry!
