The storm forcing all flights in and out of both Boston and Providence to be canceled Thursday, interrupting lots of travel plans. One family's vacation is being cut short because of the storm.

It was a disappointing night for the Creighton family. All 8 of them had already checked their bags at T.F. Green ready to take off for vacation to Jamaica. They didn't find out until they were at their terminal, that their 6 o' clock flight would not be going anywhere, the 6 A.M. was canceled too.

Mom Sharton Creighton said, “We have to come back her tomorrow night at 6 o' clock and then we have to spend the night in Atlanta and we have to wait until the next day to get to Jamaica. So, we are stressed theres 8 of us trying to get to family vacation there's a party of 20 of us that are going were all scattered other ones aren't getting out Boston is closed you know it's new England I'll never do a winter vacation again.”

Most flights are canceled through Friday morning as well. Be sure to check the status of your flight before you head out.
