All Lifespan facilities to require proof of vaccination or negative PCR test for visitors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- All Lifespan facilities will require guests to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test before being allowed inside, Lifespan announced on Wednesday.

The change will go into effect at all facilities starting on Monday.

Negative PCR tests will have to be from within 48-hours prior to the visit.

The only exception to the rule will be for end-of-life visitation, escorts for patients with disabilities, parents and caregivers of pediatric patients, birthing partners, and other situations with discretion of the clinical care team.
